What Our Software Engineering Interns Will Do

As part of the Buildnow team, you’ll work on exciting projects that push the boundaries of technology and create real-world value. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with a group of talented builders who move fast, solve big problems, and celebrate wins together. Here’s what you’ll tackle:

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend components of web applications that empower businesses.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integrations with our BNPL systems.
• Collaborate with the team to build scalable, efficient, and robust solutions for high-impact projects.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code by applying common design patterns and clean code principles and stay open to learning from code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of Buildnow’s technology.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for builders—people who are eager to grow, thrive in high-intensity environments, and take ownership of their work. Here’s what sets you up for success:

• You’re a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You’re proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and have a solid understanding of frontend frameworks, preferably React and Next.js.
• You have a good grasp of REST API concepts, HTTP fundamentals, and it’s a plus if you're familiar with gRPC.
• You possess strong problem-solving skills, excel at teamwork, and have a fundamental understanding of version control using Git.
• You’re adaptable, quick to learn new tools and frameworks, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
