What You’ll Be Doing

In this high-impact role, you’ll lead data-driven innovations that power our risk models and streamline operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing predictive models to assess credit risk by analyzing transaction history, supplier behavior, and market trends.
• Building AI-driven KYB (Know Your Business) verification tools to automate SME onboarding, enhance compliance, and reduce fraud.
• Collaborating with credit analysts to refine and enhance risk algorithms, including sector exposure limits and repayment forecasting.
• Driving advancements in AI and ML, leveraging both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to solve multifaceted challenges.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for data scientists who are highly skilled, curious, and eager to innovate in the fintech space. The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in data science, preferably within fintech or lending domains.
• Expertise in Python and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with big data tools such as Spark or BigQuery.
• A strong foundation in statistics to underpin your models and approaches.
• Multi-faceted experience with AI techniques, including computer vision, regression, GenAI, and advanced learning models.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI frameworks (e.g., Vertex AI) is a significant plus.
