This is not a typical BD role – we need a trailblazer, strategic thinker, and closer. You’ll lead strategic supplier partnerships and drive Buildnow’s footprint into new markets. You will shape the future of BNPL and play a central role in positioning Buildnow as the go-to fintech partner for B2B transactions. What You’ll Do

• Own and execute Buildnow’s strategic supplier and partner development strategy.
• Develop and secure high-impact partnerships with leading suppliers, distributors, and key players in B2B supply chains.
• Spearhead Buildnow’s international growth by establishing foreign partnerships that drive cross-border opportunities.
• Lead market research and competitive intelligence efforts to strengthen supplier partnerships and inform BD decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Product, and Capital teams to ensure strategic alignment and unlock growth synergies.
• Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements with C-level stakeholders.
• Represent Buildnow as a senior leader at high-profile industry events, conferences, and meetings.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in senior business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership roles in B2B environments.
• Proven track record of driving multi-million-dollar partnerships and expanding supplier networks.
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills with a network of senior contacts across industries.
• Deep understanding of financial products, BNPL, trade finance, or B2B payments is a plus.
• Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
